Priority Registration Policy

The Board of Trustees approved the policy of giving club members with full golf playing privileges priority in playing in club sponsored golf tournaments in June of 2021. The membership categories that provide full golf playing privileges are Owner Members, Super Senior Associate, Associate Plus, and Young Executive. The membership categories with limited golf playing privileges include Sport, Multi-generational, Seahawk, Associate Basic.
 

The Golf Committee, working with Head Professional Sam Smith, has established the following procedures to implement this policy for the 2022 golf season. This will cover the Pro-Am Draw. Tournament priority registration will begin with the ABCD Shamble scheduled for March 19th.

(Note: The first two events on the golf calendar – Super Bowl Scramble and Tip & Tuck – will still be an open registration)

Pro-Am Draw

Members with full playing privileges – Owner Member, Super Senior Associate, Associate Plus, Young Executive – the opportunity to be selected for three (3) Pro-Am tournaments each. Using Pacific NW Section PGA language, this will be the 1st Priority Draw.

When the primary draw has been completed, a 2nd Priority Draw will be held for members with limited playing privileges with priority given to sport members within this group.

After these draws are concluded, requests to fill any open times will be handled through the Pro Shop. Should any late cancelations by members occur, the golf pro for that particular group has the discretion to fill the open spot.

Tournament Priority Registration

Beginning with the ABCD Challenge tournament on March 19th, registration for club tournaments will include two registration periods. We will identify these registration periods with language used by the Pacific NW Section PGA. “1st Priority” will identify the registration period for members with full golf playing privileges. “2nd Priority” will identify the registration period for members with limited golf playing privileges.

1st Priority Registration will open 30 days prior to the tournament. 2nd Priority Registration will open 10 days prior to the tournament.
